Prayers.

Warner's Estate.

A BILL to vest and settle several Lands, in Wolston and Marston in the County of Warwick, upon William Warner, and others, according to a Settlement thereof, made by George Warner Esquire, deceased, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time, on This-day sevennight.

Restoring Wadeson.

A Bill for vesting and restoring Thomas Wadeson Gentleman to the Office of Clerk of the Chamber of London, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time, on Thursday next.

Nat. Bill.

A Bill for naturalizing several Persons was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time, To-morrow Morning.

Bristoll Navigation.

Ordered, That the Bill for clearing the Passage intended to be made navigable between London and Bristoll, be read To-morrow Morning.

Lessees for Life.

Mr. Crouch reports from the Committee to which the Bill for the Lessee to prove the Life in being, was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill, with a Proviso to be added thereto: Which he read, with the Coherence in the Bill, and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the said Amendments were twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to, except the Proviso only.

The Proviso being twice read;

And the Question being put, That the Proviso be agreed to;

It passed in the Negative.

The Question being put, That the Bill be re-committed to the former Committee;

The House was divided.

The Noes went out.

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative, That the Bill be re-committed to the former Committee.

And the said Committee is hereby revived: And they are to meet at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Place formerly appointed.

Lyndsey Level.

Ordered, That the Two Bills concerning Lyndsey Level of the Fens, be read To-morrow Morning.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Roger Talbot have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Crown Revenue.

The House did then resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of his Majesty's Revenue.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkyns took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker re-assumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkyns reports from the Committee, That they had made some further Progress in his Majesty's Revenue: And that the Committee were of Opinion, that the House would refer it to the Committee appointed by the House to inspect the Customs, to inspect That Branch of his Majesty's Revenue, arising by the Crown Lands, and Fee-farm Rents; and to inquire into all Grants and Alienations of the Revenue made since the Death of his late Majesty, except such as have been confirmed by Act of Parliament; and also to inquire into the Charge to Officers, in Receipts and Payments of his Majesty's Revenues: And that the House would, on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take his Majesty's Revenue into further Consideration.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee appointed by this House to inspect the Customs, to inspect That Branch of his Majesty's Revenue, arising by the Crown Lands, and Fee-farm Rents; and to inquire into all Grants and Alienations of the Revenue made since the Death of his late Majesty; except such as have been confirmed by Act of Parliament; and also to inquire into the Charge to Officers in Receipts and Payments of his Majesty's Revenue.

Resolved, &c. That Sir Geo. Ryve, Colonel Kirkby, Mr. Wm. Sandys, and Mr. Hampden, be added to the Committee to inspect the Customs.

Resolved, &c. That this House will, on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take his Majesty's Revenue into further Consideration.

Pluralities.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill against Pluralities is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: and Mr. Hungerford and Mr. Boscowen are added to the said Committee.

Regulating the Press.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to peruse the Act for regulating the Press, and other Acts, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon at Three of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber; and take into Consideration the said Act for regulating the Press.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
