Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Mr. Knight have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Hearth Money.

An additional Bill for the better Collecting of the Revenue arising by Hearth Money was read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning.

Supply Bill.

An ingrossed Bill for granting Four intire Subsidies to his Majesty, by the Temporalty, was read.

The Question being put, That any more Names be added to the Bill;

It passed in the Negative.

The Question being put, That any of the Commissioners Names, which are now in the Bill, be struck out;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went out.

Sir Ralph Hare, Tellers for the Noes: 57.

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That the Name of Edmond Jones be struck out of the List of Commissioners for the County of Monmouth.

Resolved, That the Name of Mr. Watts be struck out of the List for Norwich.

The Question being put, That the Name of George Boarman do stand for a Commissioner;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That John Lambert do stand;

It passed in the Negative.

Ordered, That Commissioners for the County of Cambridge, and Isle of Ely, be joined in the Bill.

The Question being put, That Edward Herle do stand a Commissioner for Cornewall;

It passed in the Negative.

The Question being put, That the Bill do pass;

It was resolved in the Affirmative, Nemine contradicente.

Resolved, That the Title shall be, An Act for granting Four intire Subsidies to his Majesty, by the Temporalty.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Compton do carry up the Bill to the Lords.
