Prayers.

Comes', &c. Nat.

A BILL for Naturalizing of Dederick alias Richard Comes, and others, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Tuesday next.

Bedford, &c. Roads.

A Bill for repairing and maintaining the Highways in the Counties of Bedford, Bucks, Northampton, and Warwick, was this Day read the First time.

The Question being put, That the Bill be read a Second time;

It passed in the Negative.

Highway Laws.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Matter concerning the Highways was referred, do take Consideration of the Continuance of the Act for raising Sixpence in the Pound towards the Amending of the Highways; and also do consider of the Non-observance of the late Act concerning Highways, in relation to Waggons; and how the Inconveniences arising by Waggons may be and of any other Expedients they shall find necessary for the better repairing and maintaining the Highways.

Hallage.

The Question being put, That the Bill concerning Hallage, be read;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

And the Bill was read the First time.

The Question being put, That the Bill be read a Second time;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That the Bill for regulating Hallage, be read a Second time on Tuesday next;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning next, Eight of the Clock.
