Prayers.

Committee of Privileges.

ORDERED, That Sir Robert Paston, Sir Charles Cotterell, Sir John Warre, Sir Charles Harbord, Mr. St. John, Sir Wm. Strickland, Mr. Thomas, Mr. Walter Strickland, Mr. Paulett, Lord St. John, Lord Castleton, Sir Edward Masters, Sir Thom. Crew, Sir Phill. Warwick, Mr. Fowell, Mr. Sherrard, Colonel Strode, and Sir Jordan Crosland, be added to the Committee of Elections.

Fire of London.

Ordered, That Sir Maurice Berkley, Mr. Pepis, Sir Thom. Allen, Mr. Morice, Sir Richard Everard, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Marvell, Sir Wm. Hickman, Sir Adam Browne, Serjeant Mainard, be added to the Committee appointed to inquire into the Causes of the late Fire.

Loyal Officers.

A Paper complaining of Grievances to the indigent loyal Officers by the General Receivers detaining their Money, was read.

Ordered, That Charles Grills Esquire, Receiver General for the County of Cornewall, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy, for his Misdemeanor, and Abuse, in detaining the Monies payable to the indigent loyal Officers.

Loyal Officers.

Ordered, That Sir George Middleton, Receiver General for the County of Lancaster, Knight and Baronet, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy; for his Misdemeanor, and Abuse, in detaining the Monies payable to the indigent loyal Officers.

Ordered, That Walter Pritchard, and other Executors of Mr. Wm. Jones, be summoned to attend this House to give an Account touching the Monies due to the indigent loyal Officers, received by the Testator Mr. Jones.

Ordered, That Wm. Palmes, Receiver General for the County of Rutland, Esquire, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy; for his Misdemeanors, and Abuse, in detaining the Monies payable to the indigent loyal Officers.

Ordered, That Ralph Buckley, Receiver General for the County of Anglesey, Esquire, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy; for his Misdemeanor, and Abuse, in detaining the Money payable to the indigent loyal Officers.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to look into the Act for raising the Monies for the indigent loyal Officers; and to consider of further Remedies, if the Act be not already sufficient for recovering the Money in Arrear, and Damages for the Time it hath been detained: And that it be referred to Sir Robert Long, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir Wm. Smith, Lord Richardson, Mr. Wren, Colonel Whitley, Mr. Ayres, Sir James Smith, Sir Thom. Gower, Colonel Windham, Sir Thom. Tomkins, Sir Jo. Birkenhead, Sir Richard Oatley, Mr. Morice, Sir Robert Atkins, Mr. Seymour, Mr. Street, Colonel Gilby, Sir Wm. Hickman, Mr. Scowen, Sir Richard Everard, Sir Jo. Talbot, Mr. Pryn, Sir Anth. Irby, Mr. Coleman; or any Five of them: And they are to meet on Thursday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Star Chamber; and to consider of Expedients, How the Money due upon Offices may be collected, and paid in; and also to examine and state the Accompts touching the Monies payable to the indigent loyal Officers; and to report the Matter to the House: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Military Stores.

A Bill for Preservation of his Majesty's Stores of Powder and Ammunition was read.

The Question being propounded, That the Bill be read the Second time;

And the Question being put, That the main Question for reading the Bill the Second time be now put;

The House was divided.

The Noes went out.

And so it passed in the Negative.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to prepare and bring in a Bill to prevent the Imbezlement of the Stores of Powder and Ammunition: And that it be referred to Sir John Duncombe, Sir Wm. Coventry, Sir Richard Temple, Mr. Henry Coventry, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Thom. Littleton, Sir Thomas Gower, Mr. Waller, Colonel Birch, Mr. Pryn, Mr. Garway, Sir Edm. Poole, Sir Charles Harbord, Sir Thom. Lee, Mr. Millward, Mr. Solicitor General, Sir Thom. Clifford, Lord Ancram, Colonel Legg, Colonel Strangwaies, Sir John Goodrick, Sir Thom. Strickland, Colonel Williams, Sir Geo. Carteret, Sir Robert Carr: And they are to meet, in the Speaker's Chamber, on Thursday at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records: And receive Information from the Officers of the Navy, or any other Persons whom they shall think necessary.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir George Courtop have Leave to go into the Country.
