Prayers.

Agmondesham Election.

A PETITION of Sir Ralph Beovey Baronet, complaining of an undue Return of Sir Wm. Drake to serve for the Town of Agmondesham in the County of Bucks, was read.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Elections, to examine the Matter of the Petition of Sir Ralph Beovey, and certify it, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Bancks' Estate.

A Bill for confirming the Estate of Sir Ralph Bancks in the Manor of Thesbesket, and other Lands in the County of Carmarthen, was read.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.

Privilege-Prosecution of a Member.

Information being given, that the Lord Newburgh had been (in a Breach of Privilege) prosecuted to several Exigents at Law, upon Outlawries, at the Suit of one Francklin, Stokes, Coffin, Drew, Manby, Richard, Barrett, Surcean, and Cheffin alias Chessley;

Ordered, That all further Proceedings against the Lord Newburgh, upon the said Outlawries and Exigents, be stayed, during the Sessions of Parliament; and that the Record of the Exigents be vacated, and taken off the File.

Rebuilding London.

An additional Bill for rebuilding the City of London, was read.

Ordered, That this Bill be read a Second time.

Pirates.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for Continuance of a former Act, to prevent the Delivery up of Ships to Pirates and Sea Robbers.

Lyndsey Level.

Ordered, That the Bill concerning Lyndsey Level be read on Friday Morning next.

Union with Scotland.

The House then, according to former Order, proceeded to the Consideration of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, concerning the Union between England and Scotland.

And the Matter being debated;

Resolved, &c. That the further Debate of the Matter, concerning the Union between England and Scotland, be adjourned till this Day Sevennight.

Midhurst Election.

A Petition of John Farrington Esquire, was read; complaining of an undue Return of Mr. May to serve for the Town of Midhurst in the County of Sussex.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Elections, to examine the Matter of the Petition and Election; and report it, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

And then the House adjourned till Friday Morning, Eight of the Clock.
