Prayers.

Leigh's Estate.

A BILL to enable Thomas Leigh Esquire to sell Part of his Lands, for Payment of his Debts, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time.

Tillage and Cattle.

Ordered, That all the Members that serve for Norfolke and Suffolke, and the Lord Allington, and Lord Fanshawe, be added to the Committee to which the Bill for improving of Tillage is committed.

Heron's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill for Sale of Lands, to pay the Debts, and raise Portions for the younger Children, of Sir Cuthbert Heron, Baronet, was read.

Ordered, That the Bill do pass: And the Title shall be, An Act for Sale of Lands, to pay the Debts, and raise Portions for the younger Children, of Sir Cuthbert Heron Baronet.

Wharton's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill for Dr. Wharton be read Tomorrow Morning.

Repairing Highways.

Ordered, That the Bill concerning Highways be read To-morrow Morning.

Privilege.

Ordered, That . . . Moore, Widow, and John Woodward, a Bailiff of Norwich, be summoned to attend the Committee of Privileges, to answer their Breach of Privilege, in arresting John Woodden, menial Servant to Sir Robert Paston, a Member of this House.

Suppressing Conventicles.

Sir John Brampston reports from the Committee to which the Bill for preventing and suppressing of Conventicles . . . ., several Amendments to be made, and some Provisoes added to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place:

And some Amendments being added thereto, at the Table; and the same being twice read; upon the Question, were agreed to.

Resolved, That the Amendments and Provisoes be ingrossed.

Information of a Conventicle.

The House receiving Information of a dangerous Conventicle lately met in the West, and of treasonable Words there spoken; and that his Majesty had given Order for Prosecution of the Offenders;

Popish Recusants.

Resolved, That the Thanks of this House be returned to his Majesty by such Members of this House as are of his Majesty's Privy Council, for his Care in giving Order to bring the Offenders to Justice: And that his Majesty would be pleased to consider the Danger of Conventicles in and near London and Westminster, from the Nature of those further off; and to give Order for the speedy suppressing of them; And that his Majesty would give Order to put the Laws against Popish Recusants in Execution; And that Leave be given to bring in a Bill for the more speedy and easy Conviction of Popish Recusants.

And it is referred to Sir Thomas Meres, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Walter Young, Sir Job Charlton, Sir Thom. Lee, Sir John Coventry; or any Three of them.

Union with Scotland.

The Vote of the Lords concerning the Union was read.

Ordered, That the Debate thereof be adjourned till To-morrow Morning.

Supply Bill; Wine Duties.

Ordered, That the Bill for his Majesty's Supply be adjourned till Friday Morning.

Bromley's Estate.

Ordered, That these Members following be added to the Committee, to which the Bill concerning Mr. Bromley was committed: viz.
