Prayers.

Writs of Habeas Corpus.

THE Lord St. John, according to the Order of the House, opened and delivered in a Bill for Relief of the Subjects illegally imprisoned by Writs of Habeas Corpus: Which was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time on Friday next.

O'Brian's Petition.

Ordered, That the Committee, to which the Petition of the Lord Obrian was committed, be revived; and do sit To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Place formerly appointed.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees which are discontinued, be revived; and do sit To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Places formerly appointed.

Duty on Law Proceedings.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to Mr. Sacheverell, Sir John Knight, Sir Robert Carre, Mr. Boscowen, Lord St. John, Sir Thom. Lee, Sir Trevor Williams, Sir Edw. Masters, Sir Thomas Meeres, Mr. Crouch, Sir John New ton, Sir Anth. Irby, Mr. Maynard, or any Three of them, to peruse the Bill for an Imposition on Proceedings at Law; and to consider of such Clauses therein as are doubtful; and to bring in a Bill for the Explaining thereof, and ascertaining the Collection of that Duty: And they are to meet To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Impeachment of Earl Arlington.

The House then resumed the adjourned Debate concerning the Lord Arlington.

The Question being put, That an Address be presented to his Majesty, to remove the Earl of Arlington from all his Employments, that he held during his Majesty's Pleasure, and from his Majesty's Presence and Councils for ever;

Lewis, Sir Robert Carre, Mr. Howe, Mr. Powle, Mr. Sacheverell, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir Charles Wheeler, Sir John Mounson:

And they are to meet To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.
