Portsmouth Streets, &c.

A BILL for paving the Streets of Portsmouth, and erecting an Alms-house and Work-house, for the Benefit of the Town, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.

Moreland's Water Engine.

A Bill to enable Sir Samuell Moreland to enjoy the sole Benefit of certain Pumps by him invented, was read a First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.

Kelshall Charities.

Ordered, That Sir Philip Harcourt, Colonel Norton, Mr. Whorwood, Sir Thom. Hanmer, Mr. Grey, and Doctor Arris, be added to the Committee to which the Bill for settling certain Lands to charitable and publick Uses for the Benefit of the Parish of Kelshall in the County of Suffolke ....

Regulating Elections.

A Bill for the better Election of Members to serve in Parliament, was read a First time.

Petition from Harrow, &c.

A Petition of the Inhabitants of Harrow in the Hill, and several other Towns, was tendered, and read.

Huntington Election.

Colonel Birch reports from the Committee of Elections and Privileges, the State of the Case, and Evidence on both Sides, in the Matter of the Election for the County of Huntington; and the Vote of the Committee thereupon: Which he read; and delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Which is as followeth; viz. That Mr. Appreece, the Sitting Member, was duly elected.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee, that Mr. Appreece, the Sitting Member, is duly elected;
