Martis, 12 die Martii, 1677.

Thorold's Estate.

MR. Crouch reports from the Committee to whom the Bill to enable Trustees to sell Lands for Payment of the Debts of Sir Wm. Thorold, deceased, wasre-committed; to consider of the Amendment which was proposed to be made at the Table, when the Bill was reported; That the Committee had taken the same into their Consideration, but saw no Cause to make any other Amendment than what the House had already agreed to.

And the Bill and Amendments being brought up, and delivered to Mr. Speaker;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Vyrnwy's Bridge.

A Bill for Repair of the new Bridge over the River Vyrnwy, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time.

Burying in Woolen.

Sir George Downing reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for Burying in Woolen, was re-committed; to consider whether it was fit to repeal the former Law; That the Committee had taken the same into their Consideration; and thought it necessary to repeal the former Law; and to make Provision for the same entirely in this Bill.

And the Amendments to the Bill being read a Second time;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Samine's Estate.

Sir John Pettus reports from the Committee to whom the Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Trustees to sell Lands for the Raising of Money to pay the Debts of John Samine Esquire, Sir Roger Cooper Knight, and Cecill Cooper Esquire, deceased, several Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill, and the Title thereof: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were twice read; and, upon the Question severally agreed.

Hearth-money.

An ingrossed Bill for the better collecting the Duty of Hearth-money, was read the Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for the better and more easy collecting the Duty of Hearth-money.

Bills sent from Lords.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Samuell Clerke and Sir Lacon William Childe;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Creditors to recover their Debts of the Executors and Administrators of Executors de son tort demesne: And have commanded us to acquaint you, That they have agreed to the Bill sent from this House, intituled, An Act for the better Assurance of such as claim under ancient Fines and Recoveries; with some Amendments; to which they desire the Concurrence of this House: As likewise to the Bill sent from this House, intituled, An Act to enable the Trustees of Brian Viscount Cullen, of the Realm of Ireland, to sell or dispose of Lands in Elmsthorp in the County of Leicester, for the Payment of Debts, and raising a Portion for his Daughter: And also to a Bill sent from this House, intituled, An Act for discharging the Manor of Winstead in the County of Yorke of a Settlement in Tail, and charging other Lands in the County of Lincolne, of a greater Value, with the same Uses.

Conference desired with Lords.

The House then, according to Order, poceeded to the Consideration of the Proceedings at the Conference had with the Lords on Saturday Morning last.

Resolved, &c. That a Conference be desired with the Lords, upon the Subject Matter of the last Conference.

Ordered, That the Members that did attend, and manage the Conference, do prepare and draw up Reasons to be offered at the said Conference.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
