Prayers.

Plimpton Election.

A PETITION of Richard Strode Esquire, complaining of an undue Return of George Treby Esquire to serve for the Borough of Plimpton Earle in the County of Devon, in Injury of the Petitioner, who was duly elected to serve for the said Borough, and ought to have been returned, was read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Privileges and Elections; to examine the Matter; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Alborough Election.

A Petition of Sir Thomas Mauleverer Baronet, complaining of an undue Return of Roussea Wentworth to serve for the Borough of Alborough in the County of Yorke, in Injury of the Petitioner, who was duly elected, and ought to have been returned, was read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Privileges and Elections; to examine the Matter; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Kelshall Charities.

A Bill for settling certain Lands to charitable Uses, within the Parish of Kelshall in the County of Suffolke, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Timothy Baldwyn and Sir Wm. Beversham;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, That his Majesty having been attended with the White Staves, to know his Majesty's Pleasure when both Houses may attend him with the Address, his Majesty had appointed this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Banqueting House, for both Houses to attend him.

And then the House adjourned until half an Hour after Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.
