Prayers.

Convocation Oaths.

Dr. Edysbury reports from the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act for disabling any Person from sitting in any of the Houses of Convocation, till he hath taken the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration therein mentioned, was committed, That the Committee had taken the Bill into their Consideration; and had agreed upon several Amendments and Clauses: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were again once read.

The First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments, being read the Second time, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Sixth Amendment, being read a Second Time, was postponed.

The Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Amendments, being read a Second Time, were, upon the Question, agreed.

The rest of the Amendments and Clauses being read a Second Time; and a Debate arising thereupon;

Resolved, That the Bill be re-committed to the same Committee, to consider of the Amendments and Clauses not agreed unto, upon the Debate of the House.

LordMohun's Estate.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Timothy Baldwyn and Sir William Beversham;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill, intituled, An Act to enable the Trustees of the Manors and Lands late of Charles Lord Mohun, therein named, to fell and sell Timber, and to make Leases, for Payment of his and his Father's Debts; and to raise a Portion for his Daughter: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Noel, and Mr. May, have Leave to go into the Country for Fourteen Days, from Saturday next.

Earl Danby's Impeachment.

Ordered, That the Committee of Secrecy, appointed to receive Evidence, and prepare and draw up further Articles against the Earl of Danby, have Leave to sit from time to time during the Sitting of the House; and to make Choice of a Person to assist them, in the nature of a Solicitor.

Ordered, That the said Committee of Secrecy shall be at Liberty to desire the Assistance and Information of any Member of this House, in order to the preparing and drawing up further Articles against the Earl of Danby.

Impeachment of Lords in the Tower.

Ordered, That the Committee of Secrecy, to whom it was referred to look into the Answers of the Five Lords in the Tower, and inquire into the Methods of proceeding to Tryal upon Impeachments, do make their Report to the House To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock.

Supply Bill; disbanding the Army.

The Bill for paying off and dismissing the Army, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second Time, To-morrow Morning.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees that were discontinued, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon, in the Places formerly appointed.

Norfolke Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for the Electing of Two Knights of the Shire to serve in this present Parliament for the County of Norfolke.

Expiring Laws.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to consider of the Temporary Laws, and report their Opinions, Which of them are fit to be continued, be impowered to send as well for licensed as unlicensed Books, in order to be examined and perused by them.

Dr. Nelson.

Resolved, &c. That the Committee to whom the Matter concerning Dr. Nelson is referred, do take the same into Consideration, upon the Debate of the House.

State of the Navy.

Resolved, That the House will, on Thursday Morning next, take into Consideration the State of the Kingdom; and how the Navy may be made useful for the Defence thereof.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That the Lord Ashley have Leave to continue in the Country.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
