Prayers.

Bancks' Estate.

MR. Harbord reports from the Committee to which the Bill for confirming the Estate of Sir Ralph Bancks, in the Manor of Thirsbesket, and other Lands in the County of Carmarthen, was committed, that the Committee had carefully perused the Bill, and returned it, without any Amendment.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be ingrossed.

Wharton's Estate.

A Bill to enable Jane and Henry Perkins to make an Assurance to Dr. Wharton, of Lands by him purchased in the County Palatine of Duresme, was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time.

Cloth-stealing.

A Bill to make Stealing of Cloth off the Racks Felony without Clergy, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Charles Harbord, Sir Solom. Swale, Sir Jo. Knight, Sir Thom. Allen, Col. Birch, Sir Robert Carr, Mr. Lucy, Col. Williams, Sir Denny Ashburnham, Mr. Milward, Sir Adam Browne, Sir Robert Howard, Lord Richardson, Sir Thom Meres, Sir Lanc. Lake, Sir Jo. Duncombe, Mr. Lovelace, Sir Jo. Talbott, Sir Thom. Tomkins, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Spry, Sir Thom. Dolman, Col. Milward, and all the Members that serve for the several Counties of Gloster, Wilts, Somersett, York, Kent, Devon, Worcester, and Berks: And all that shall come are to have Voices: And they are to consider the Debates of the House; and bring in an enacting Clause in the Bill to make stealing the King's Ammunition or Stores Felony without Clergy: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Wey Navigation.

Ordered, That the Bill for settling the Navigation of the River Wey, in Surrey, be read on Monday Morning next.

Bromley's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill on the Behalf of Mr. Bromley, be read the First Bill To-morrow Morning.

Lady Lee's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill for confirming Purchasers Estates; and for settling Differences between the Lady Eliz. Lee, and the Daughters and Coheirs of the late Earl of Downe; was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for confirming Purchasers Estates; and for settling Differences between the Lady Eliz. Lee, and the Daughters and Coheirs of the late Earl of Downe: And Mr. Lovelace is to carry up the Bill to the Lords.

Suppressing Conventicles.

The Bill for suppressing and preventing Conventicles, was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time.

Habeas Corpus Writs.

Ordered, That it be referred to Sir Thomas Lee, Sir Robert Howard, and Sir Robert Atkins, to prepare and bring in a Bill touching Writs of Habeas Corpus.

Message to expedite Business.

Mr. Secretary Trevor acquaints the House, that he had Command from his Majesty, to acquaint them, that his Majesty's Intention was, that the Parliament should rise before Easter; and that such publick Bills as are intended to pass, be made ready against that time.

Supply Bill; Wine Duties.

The Bill for raising a Supply for his Majesty, by an Imposition on Wines, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

Resolved, That the Committee be impowered to consider, what the Revenue of his Royal Highness the Duke of York, by Wine Licences, will be damnified by this Imposition; and report it to the House, with their Opinions, what Recompence is fit to be given in lieu of it.

And then the House resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Robert Atkins took . . Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins, reports, That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill concerning his Majesty's Supply; and moved, that the House would resolve into a Committee of the whole House again To-morrow Morning, after the Business concerning Brandy is over.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, that the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House To-morrow Morning, after the Business of Brandy is over, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill concerning his Majesty's Supply.

Heron's Estate.

Ordered, That all the Members that serve for the Town of Newcastle and Berwick, be added to the Committee to which the Bill of Sir Cuthbert Heron, is committed.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
