CONSTANTINE Vernatti, and Claude Haiis, did this Day take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, before the Speaker, at the Clerk's Table; in order to their Naturalization.

Privilege- A Witness sent for in Custody.

Information being given, that one Mr. Morrice, being summoned to attend the Committee appointed to examine the Miscarriages of the late War, refused to attend;

Ordered, That Mr. Morrice, for his Contempt, in not attending the Committee appointed to examine the Miscarriages of the late War, be sent for, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms.

Navy Debts.

A Bill for the Payment of the Debts due to the Navy Creditors was read the First time.

The Question being put, that the Bill be read a Second time;

General Naturalization Bill.

A Bill for the general Naturalization of Foreigners, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read the Second time, on this Day Sevennight.

Ordered, That the Report concerning Haverfordwest be made on Thursday Morning next.

Public Accompts.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill of Accompts be made on Thursday Morning next.

Privilege-Freedom of Speech.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the Report, touching Freedom of Speech in Parliament, be heard on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock.

Privilege - A Member charged with Corruption.

Mr. St. Hill, being called in to the Bar of the House, gave his Information, touching the Money given for promoting the Business of the French Merchants.

Mr. Hartlibb was called in; and examined, also.

Ordered, That the Clerk of this House do forthwith go, and receive from Mr. Hartlibb the List by him confessed to be in his Hands.

Ordered, That the further Examination of the Business relating to the French Merchants be adjourned till Tomorrow Morning.

Managers of Conference.

Ordered, That these Members following be added to those appointed to manage the Conference with the Lords; viz. Mr. Swinsen, Sir Tho. Osborne, Mr. Walter.

Repairing Highways.

Ordered, That the Committee, to which the Bill concerning Highways, be revived; and Sir Richard Braham be added to the Committee.
