Preventing Profanation of Sunday.
SIR Charles Harbord reports from the Committee to which the Bill for the better Observation of the Lord's Day, was committed, several Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed unto;
Preservation of Game.
Mr. Cheney reports from the Committee to which the Bill to preserve the Game, and securing Warrens not inclosed, and the several Fishings of the Realm, was committed, several Amendments agreed to be made, and a Clause for preserving of Fishing, to be added to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same were twice read; and, with some Amendments made at the Table, were, upon the Question, agreed to.
Ordered, That it be referred to the same Committee (who for that Purpose are hereby revived) to compare the printed Act against unlawful Hunting and Killing of Deer, with the Bill; and to bring in a Clause, for Sale of the Distress, if it be not in the former Act; and also, for an Appeal; to be made Part of the Bill.
Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee of Privileges, the State of the Case, and Evidence on both Sides, in the Cause touching a Breach of Privilege between Sir John Knight a Member of this House, and Mr. Knight the Mayor of Bristoll; and, That, upon Examination and Hearing of the whole Matter, the Committee were of Opinion, that Mr. Knight, the Mayor of Bristoll was not guilty of any Breach of Privilege.
Supply Bill; Law Proceedings.
Resolved, &c. That the House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed upon the Bill for an Imposition upon Proceedings in Courts of Law, and other Courts, the first Business To-morrow Morning.
