Prayers.

Woolrich's Award.

A BILL, sent from the Lords, for Confirming an Award made by Sir Orlando Bridgman Knight and Baronet, late Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, for the ending of all Differences in the Family of Sir Thomas Woolrich Knight and Baronet, deceased; and to enable John Woolrich, and his Heirs, to execute the Powers in the said Award mentioned, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time, on Thursday Morning next.

Lloyd's, &c. Nat.

A Bill for the Naturalization of Phillip Lloyd, and others, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time, on Thursday Morning.

Destroying Houses to stop Fire.

A Bill touching Blowing up or Pulling down Houses, to prevent the Increase of Fire, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time, on Friday Morning next.

Privilege-Ackson's Petition.

A Petition of Samuell Ackson Constable, was read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee of Privileges, to examine the Matter; and report it, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Privilege-Abuse of Deputy Serjeant.

A Complaint being made of a great Abuse and Misdemeanour, against the Privilege of this House, by Anthony Warner, William Little the Father, William Little the Son, Gyles Smith, Stephen Hunt, Thomas Taylor, Richard Buckell, Jacob Holder, George Fletcher, and Thomas Morgan, by beating, wounding, binding with Cords, and otherwise inhumanly dragging and using of John Hamond; Deputy to the Serjeant at Arms attending this House; when he, with others, were endeavouring to put in Execution a Warrant granted by the late Speaker Sir Edward Turner Knight, now Lord Chief Baron;

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee of Privileges, to examine the Abuse and Misdemeanour complained of, contrary to the Privilege of this House; and to report the Matter, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Answer to Address considered.

The House then proceeded to the further Consideration of his Majesty's last Message, in Answer to the Address of this House.

And the same being debated;

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to a Committee, to consider what Answer to return to his Majesty's last Message upon the Debate of the House: And to make Report thereof.

Sir Thomas Meeres, Mr. Attorney General, Sir Will. Coventry, Mr. Garraway, Colonel Strangwaies, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Thom. Lee, Sir William Lowther, Mr. Swinfen, Sir Robert Howard, Mr. Powle, Mr. Solicitor General, Sir John Duncombe, Sir Geo. Downing, Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Whorwood, Mr. Secretary Coventry, Mr. Waller, Sir Philip Musgrave, Mr. Sacheverill; or any Five of them: And they are to meet this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Protestant Dissenters.

Resolved, &c. That the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow Morning Ten of the Clock; to consider of the Subject Matter for a Bill of Ease to his Majesty's Protestant Subjects, Dissenters in Matters of Religion from the Church of England.

Supply Bill.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Attorney General took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Attorney General reports from the said Committee, That they had made some further Progress upon the said Bill; and humbly moved, from the said Committee, That the House would resolve into a Committee again on Friday Morning next, Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the further Consideration thereof; unless the Occasion and Leisure of the House will permit an earlier Proceeding.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, that the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House again, on Friday Morning next, Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for his Majesty's Supply; unless the Occasion and Leisure of the House will permit an earlier Proceeding.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
