Prayers.

Writs of Dedimus Potestatem.

ORDERED That the several Knights of the Shires, who are in Town, and the Members that serve for such Counties where there are no Knights, do take care for sending down the Writs of Dedimus Potestatem, for taking the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, to the Sheriffs of the several Counties, with Directions to see the Writs executed; and, if they find it necessary to have Commissioners added or altered, to attend the Lord Keeper: Who is desired to give Direction for issuing new Writs for such Places as he shall find necessary: And that the several Members do give an Account to this House, of the Delivery and Execution of the said Writs.

Recovering Tythes.

A Petition of several Ministers of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire was read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to Mr. Hungerford, Mr. Crouch, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir John Knight, Mr. Prynn, Sir John Heath, Sir Walter Young, Sir Courtney Poole, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir John Knight, Dr. Burwell, Sir Robert Atkins, Mr. Boscowen; or any Three of them; to consider of the Matter of the Petition; and to prepare and bring in a Bill for the Petitioners Relief.
