Writs of Dedimus Potestatem.
ORDERED That the several Knights of the Shires, who are in Town, and the Members that serve for such Counties where there are no Knights, do take care for sending down the Writs of Dedimus Potestatem, for taking the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, to the Sheriffs of the several Counties, with Directions to see the Writs executed; and, if they find it necessary to have Commissioners added or altered, to attend the Lord Keeper: Who is desired to give Direction for issuing new Writs for such Places as he shall find necessary: And that the several Members do give an Account to this House, of the Delivery and Execution of the said Writs.
Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to Mr. Hungerford, Mr. Crouch, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir John Knight, Mr. Prynn, Sir John Heath, Sir Walter Young, Sir Courtney Poole, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir John Knight, Dr. Burwell, Sir Robert Atkins, Mr. Boscowen; or any Three of them; to consider of the Matter of the Petition; and to prepare and bring in a Bill for the Petitioners Relief.
Assigning Exchequer Debts.
Ordered, That a Committee be appointed, to consider of the Bill formerly depending, concerning the publick Accounts; and to prepare and bring in a Bill for the effectual taking and examining of the Accounts of the Monies received and disbursed, upon the publick Account; viz. Mr. John Vaughan, Mr. Dowdswell, Mr. Boscowen, Sir Tho. Clergis, Sir Sollo. Swale, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Walter St. John, Mr. Garraway, Col. Strangwayes, Sir Wm. Littleton; or any Three of them; to consider of the Bills formerly brought in, and not passed; and to bring in such as they find most necessary to be past; and to consider what temporary Bills are necessary to be renewed and continued: And also, to prepare and bring in a Bill for taking the Account of the Monies received for the indigent loyal Officers.

Privilege-Freedom of Speech.
Ordered, That a Committee be appointed, to consider of the Matter of Privilege, and Freedom of Speech, in Parliament; and of the Case in the King's Bench, in 5 Car.; and the Information there brought for Words spoken; and the Demurrer to the Jurisdiction of the Court; and how the Law and Report is in that Particular; as also, a Charge against the Judges, and the Proceeding of the House of Lords, and this House, upon that Occasion; and also of the Act made in this present Parliament, concerning the Matter aforesaid; and report their Opinions to the House; Mr. Vaughan, Sir John Goodrick, Mr. Hungerford, Sir John Heath, Mr. Pryn, Sir Tho. Mr. Speaker, The Lords do concur with the House of Commons, in the Address of Thanks to his Majesty; and will go with this House in a Body to attend his Majesty therewith; and that they have sent to his Majesty, to know at what Time and Place they may wait upon him.

Meers, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Courtney Poole, Mr. Boscawen; or any Three of them; to prepare and bring in a Bill for settling the Measures and Prices of Wine, Beer, Ale, and other Liquors; and also Measures of Grain; and to inspect the former Laws for that Purpose.
