Prayers.
Exporting Wool.
A BILL to prevent the Exportation of Wool out of England and Ireland into Foreign Parts, was read the First time.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time, on Tuesday next.
Privilege- Petition from a Member in the Tower.
A Petition of the Lord Cavendish was read; acknowledging his Breach of Privilege, and thereby incurring the Displeasure of this House; and craving the Pardon of the House.
Ordered, That the Lord Cavendish be discharged from his Imprisonment in the Tower: And that Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Constable of the Tower, or his Deputy, for his Discharge.
Mayne's Petition.
A Petition of John Mayne, a Merchant, being read;
The Question being put, That the House do proceed on the Petition;
The House divided.

Building Ships.
The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to the Building of more Ships.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Charles Harbord took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumes the Chair.
Sir Charles Harbord reports from the Committee, That they had agreed Two Votes to be reported to the House: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which being read, are as followeth; viz.
Resolved, &c. That it is the Opinion of this Committee, that Twenty Ships, of the First, Second, and Third Rate, shall be built with all convenient Speed.
Resolved, &c. That the House be moved, that this House may resolve into a Committee of the whole House again upon Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock, to proceed further in Consideration of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to the Building of more Ships.
Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee that Twenty Ships, of the First, Second, and Third Rate, shall be built with all convenient Speed.
Resolved, &c. That this House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House again upon Tuesday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, to proceed in the further Consideration of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to the Building of more Ships.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
