A BILL for the better enabling Mary Countess Dowager of Warwick, to perform the last Will of Charles late Earl of Warwick her late Husband, deceased, was read a Second time.

Insolvent Debtors.

A Bill for the Relief of poor Prisoners for Debt, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time, in a full House, on Monday next, after Ten of the Clock.

Westminster &c. Courts of Conscience.

Ordered, That the several Bills for erecting Courts of Conscience for Westminster, Southwarke, and other Places within the Bills of Mortality, be read To-morrow Morning.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees which are discontinued, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon.

Method of voting and raising Supplies.

A Debate arising in the House, touching the ancient Order and Course of the House, on the Method of raising Supplies; and concerning the Precedency of the lesser Sum;

The House, upon the Question, did resolve and declare it an ancient Order of the House, That when there comes a Question between the greater and lesser Sum; or the longer or shorter Time, the least Sum and longest Time ought first to be put to the Question.

Building Ships.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to a Supply for the building more Ships.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir John Trevor took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir John Trevor reports from the Committee, That they had made some further Progress; and humbly moved, that the House may, To-morrow Morning, resolve again into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to a Supply for building more Ships.

Resolved, &c. That this House will, To-morrow Morning, at Eleven of the Clock, resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to a Supply for the building more Ships.

Call of the House.

Resolved, &c. That the Calling over the House, which was appointed for To-morrow, be adjourned till Monday next.
