A Bill to enable Sir Wm. Beecher and others, to perform a Trust, and raise Monies for Payment of the Debts, and making Provision for the younger Children of Richard Tayler Esquire, was read the Second time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Robert Carr, Sir Wm. Beecher, Mr. Milward, Lord Fanshaw, Sir Richard Francklyn, Col. Williams, Mr. Musgrave, Sir Humfry Wynch, Sir Wm. Terringham, Sir Thomas Lee, Mr. Westphaling, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Mr. Lucy, Sir Thomas Allen, Sir Richard Braham, Col. Kirkby, Lord Fitz Williams, Sir Richard Oatley, Mr. Steward, Sir Jo. Newton, Mr. Hobby, Mr. Otway, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir Bainh. Escapes from London Sheriffs.
We are also to acquaint you, that the Lords have agreed to the Bill, sent from this House, intituled, An Act to indemnify the late Sheriffs of London, touching Escapes of Prisoners in the Time of the late Fire.
Secret apprehension of one complained of.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker receive in private the Name of a Person complained against, for transporting of Wool; and to issue his Warrant for the taking him in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy.
Transportation of Corn, &c.
Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for encouraging the Transportation of Corn and Cattle is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon in the Place formerly appointed: And they have Power to consider of, and make a Proposition for laying an Imposition on Foreign Linen.
