June 6.
Drury House.
Drury House Trustees to the Commissioners for Sequestrations. You discharged the estate of Rich. Hunter, sold by us to Step. Kirk, but the Commissioners for Removing Obstructions, on 13 Feb. last, write us that Geo. Hunter, the delinquent's father, demised the premises by will for payment of debts, and therefore the purchaser should be reprized. We have ordered all the doubled bills he paid in to be returned him, so the premises remain as before the sale. The Commissioners for Sequestrations had better inquire after the profits, the purchaser saying he has received none.
Several copyholds purchased of us by Major Art. Evelyn are also returned to us, as not saleable by the Act. [G 93, p. 761.] Annexing,
i. Note of the said copyholds in Glamorganshire. [G 93, p. 763.]
June 7. Certificate by Registrar Bayly on the desire of Wm. Bosvile, Esq., and Lieut. Nicholas Sanderson, that he finds not any estate remaining under sequestration, on the discovery of any person, whereby to receive satisfaction by any Act, order, or ordinance of Parliament, for any debt due by [P to] the Commonwealth. [G 34, p. 65.]
June 27. 4. Deposition by Thos. Jackson, of Kneeton, co. York, that he received a certificate (missing) from Sir Thos. Harrison and Ralph Rymer, and that it has not been opened, or altered. [Endorsement of a folding sheet addressed to the Committee at Haberdashers' Hall.]
