Bedham (John), fishmonger.—To William Baron a certain shop in the parish of S. Nicholas at the Shambles, near a narrow path called "le Twychyn," for life; remainder to the Prior and Convent of the House of the Salutation of the Mother of God of the Carthusian Order, charged with the maintenance of lamps to burn by night and day over the tombs (fn. 1) of Richard Clyderowe and of John Popham, Knt., the observance of an obit for the soul of William Baron aforesaid, and other duties in manner as directed. Dated London, 15 June, A.D. 1472.

Gregory (William), Alderman, citizen and skinner.—To Thomas Westhagh, the rector of the church of All Hallows at the Hay, and his successors, he leaves two tenements in Heywharnane in aid of a chantry founded in the said church by John Beverlee and Avice, wife of the said John, for the souls of Roger de Waltham, Edith, wife of the same, and others. Dated 20 January, A.D. 1449.
