May 6. 7. Certificate by the county commissioners, that on 16 March 1650, Wm. Temple, Bishopstrow, co. Wilts, subscribed the engagement to be faithful to the Commonwealth, without King or House of Lords. 2 seals and signatures. [Scrap.]

8. Jas. Smith, to Dallison. Sir John Wollaston and the rest of the Treasurers-at-war, ask whether there is any money in that treasury on assessment of the 2 persons expressed in the order of the House, more than is already paid the said treasurers. [½ page.] Enclosing,
8. i. Parliament Order, that the sums received from Lords Lanerick and Lauderdale, not already disposed of by order, be paid to the Army treasurers, and by them to Sir Art. Hesilrigg, for Carlisle and Berwick fortifications. 13 April 1649. [½ page.]
