25 May 1655. Committee for Advance of Money to the sheriffs of London and Middlesex. Brown having obtained a verdict in the Upper Bench, on a lease of ejectment against Bushell for the house, you are to forbear all proceedings on the verdict till you receive further order from us, the tenement being sequestered, as Brown's title, and that of the Protector, in right of the recusant, have been referred to counsel to report. 25 78
H. 13 156 10 July 1655. The solicitor for the State to enquire into the State's title to the tenement, and both parties to be heard in a fortnight. 13 159
