Ordanis Jhonn Moresoun, thesaurer, to caus ansuer the Lord Mortoun and the capitane of the Castell, ilk ane of twa mylne staynes furth of the commoun mylnis, vpoun thair resonabill expenssis.

Jhonn Arnott, provest, the baillies, dene of gild, thesaurer and counsall, for the maist pairt, beand convenit, fynds it expedient that ane be direct to attend vpoun maister Robert Bruce, minister, quhill his hamecvming furth of Sanctandrois and to haif him hamewart, and appoyntis James Dalyell, younger, with ane lettre to be direct with him to that effect.
