But Walker pres. by Edward Littleton, esquire, Richard Germyn, gentleman, and Richard Marshall, citizen of London, patrons hac vice by virtue of gr. of next pres. made by Bp. Richard [Sampson]; instit. 5 Aug. (B/A/1/14 iv f. 47v); compounded for first-fruits 6 Aug. (P.R.O., E 334/3 f. 127v). D. 4 × 17 Sept. 1567 (P.R.O., PROB 11/49, PCC 33 Stonarde; ibid., E 331 COV .../3, as archdcn. of Derby), though may have res. by 12 May (cf. Thomas Bickley, below).
