SOMERSET. Inq. (indented) taken at Yevele, virtute officii, 19 May, 20 Richard II.
He held the under-mentioned moiety by the law of England of the inheritance of Thomas, son of the said Henry and Agnes, late his wife.
Yevele. A moiety of a messuage.
He died about the feast of the Purification, 17 Richard II. Thomas, aged 18 years and more, is son and heir of the said Agnes. He has been a fool and an idiot from birth.
William Lambrok of Yevele and Juliana his wife have taken the issues since the said Henry’s death and have found the said Thomas in food and clothes and kept him in everything.

NORFOLK. Inq. taken at Harleston, 20 November, 21 Richard II.
He held the under-mentioned manors, advowsons and knights’ fees of the dower of Philippa his wife, who is still living, which were of John de Hastynges, late earl of Pembroke, formerly Philippa’s husband.
Wynnoferthyng. The manor, held of the king in chief by knight’s service.
Tebenham. The manor, held of the barony de Monte Cariso, service unknown.
Hokham. The manor, held of the countess of Norfolk, by knight’s service.
Goderston. The manor, held of the king in chief by knight’s service.
Sutton in Fleg. The manor, with the advowson of the church, held of the countess of Norfolk by knight’s service and service of 6d. yearly.
Saxthorp. The manor, held of the king in chief by service of half a knight’s fee.
Gessyng and Myddylton by Lynne. Two knights’ fees.
Hawkherlyng. Half a knight’s fee.
Tebynham. A tenth part of a knight’s fee.
Carboldesham. A moiety of a knight’s fee.
Coklykeye. A knight’s fee.
Helghton [and] Wramlyngham. A knight’s fee and a half.
Sparham. A fourth part of a knight’s fee.
Banham Garbaldesham. Two knights’ fees.
Hyldeborghworth, Cranous, Bradenham, Denever and Helyngton. Four knights’ fees.
Feltewell. A knight’s fee.
Holyngham and Hales. Two knights’ fees.
Brunsted and Manyngton. The advowsons of the churches.
He died on Friday the feast of St Matthew last.
The tenants of the said manors have occupied them from the time of the earl’s death until now.

He held the under-mentioned third part of the dower of Philippa, as above. He held no other manors, advowsons or knights’ fees in the county of the dower of the said Philippa except those mentioned in an inquisition taken at Harleston, 20 November, 21 Richard II.
Uphall in Asshele. A third part of the manor, with the advowson of the church at the third time of presentation, held of the king in chief by serjeanty of napery at his coronation.

He held the under-mentioned manors, advowsons and lands as above.
Luddesdon. The manor, with the advowson of the church, held of the earl of March as of his manor of Swanescampe by homage and fealty and 38s. for castle ward.
Cleyndon. The manor, with the lands of Sawters annexed. The manor is held of the prior of Rochester as of his manor of Darente by homage and fealty and service of 29s. and the lands of Sawters are held of the prior of the hospital of St John of Jerusalem at his manor of Sutton and the heirs of Gronson, services unknown.
Hertleye. The manor, held of the king in chief as of the shield of Pembroke, services unknown.
Newton Lucy. A third part of the manor with a third part of the view of frankpledge and court, held of the king in chief, service unknown.
Sutton Valence. The advowson of the church.
He died on 21 September in the year aforesaid.
Richard Clyfforde, clerk, has taken the issues of the manor of Luddesdon, title unknown, Ralph Hell those of Cleyndon and Sawters for a farm of 100s. yearly, John Yedley those of Hertleye for a certain farm, and Lawrence Smyth those of Neuton Lucy, title unknown.

Fordham. The manor, held of the king by knight’s service.
