II. Grant by Margery de Blevile, widow, to John de Colevile, her nephew, son of William de Coleville, for his service, to hold to him and the heirs of his body, of a messuage with buildings and all the land and tenements, with meadows, pastures and appurtenances, which she and Alan de Wideresdale, sometime her husband, acquired in Munegedene, rendering to her and her heirs 21d. yearly, 1lb. of cummin and 4 clove gillyflowers for all services, saving the king’s service viz.— 12 1/2d. for a scutage of 20s., with reversion, upon failure of such issue to the said John, to herself and her heirs.
III. Agreement between John …… and Ernald de Kettleber’, whereby the former binds himself and his heirs and assigns to pay at specified dates to the latter 80 marks for 22 acres of land in Mungheden with the advowson of the church, and for greater security the said land and advowson, have been delivered to the prior of Lech . . (?) to keep; and in case of default of payment the land and advowson shall revert to the said Ernald de Kettleber’ his heirs and assigns. Dated at the feast of the Annunciation, 43 Henry III.
IV. Grant by John Wygan, to John Welond and his heirs, of 6d. rent in Munegedene, which he was accustomed to receive from John Smith (Fabro) of Ho for a meadow lying by the court of the parson of Muneghedene. Incomplete and vacated. Copy.

Est Farlegh. A capital messuage, 70a. arable and rents, held in gavelkind of the prior of Christchurch, Canterbury, by service of 20s. yearly, and doing suit at the prior’s court of Est Farlegh every three weeks.

Est Pecham. A messuage, 27a. arable and 2a. meadow, held in gavelkind of John de la Chekere, as of his manor of Adynton, by service of 1d. yearly for all service, and by rendering 7s. yearly to the lord of Cosinton.
Shybourne. A yearly rent of 26s., a cock and 3 hens, held jointly with Joan his wife in free fee of Roger Bavent without any service.

Richard de la Bere, son of Richard de la Bere, aged 30 years and more, is her kinsman and next heir; because the said Joan died without issue, and her right resorted to one Richard de la Bere, knight, as brother and heir of Alan Plokenet, father (patris) of the said Joan, sprung (progenito) from the same father and mother; and from the said Richard the right descended to Richard de la Bere as son and heir, and from the said Richard son of Richard the right descended to the aforesaid Richard de la Bere, who now brings suit as son and heir.
