Memorials of the Merchant Taylors

The Memorials of the Guild are now live. Published in 1875, in an edition by C.M Clode, the Memorials is a substantial collection of sources relating to the history of the Company from its foundation. Read it, and other sources relating to the livery companies of the City of London, at:

Five volumes of the Letters and Papers, Foreign and Domestic, Henry VIII, are now live. These volumes cover the years 1535-1537. Further volumes will be added in the coming months. Read the series so far here:

John Stow's 'Survey of London'

The Kingsford edition of Stow's 'Survey' is now live. Based on the 1603 edition of the 'Survey', it appeared in two volumes, here given as one. It adds to our growing collection of survey histories of the capital, including Lysons' 'Environs of London'.
