New records for early modern Middlesex now live

Quarter Sessions records for 1612-18 are now live. These records of this periodic court complement other seventeenth century records for the county, which include recognizances and inquisitions post mortem. Read them all at:

Four more Henry VIII Letters and Papers volumes now live

Four more volumes of the Letters and Papers of Henry VIII are now live. These volumes include two covering 1545, the antepenultimate year of Henry's reign. There are also now over 100 volumes live from the project of which this series forms part: British History Online's completion of the digitization of the calendars of state papers. Three new volumes are now live. Volumes 2 and 4 cover parts of the parish of Chelsea, and volume 15 that of All Hallows-by-the-Tower. The remaining eight volumes are in production, and should appear by the end of 2008. Read them all at:

Three volumes of Treasury Papers now online

Three volumes of the Treasury Papers are now live. These first three volumes cover those papers from the period 1556 to 1707 which were preserved in the Treasury. Further volumes of this series, and the related Treasury Books series, will be added in the coming months. Read the first volumes here:
