Monday in Easter week, 3 Edward II. [A.D. 1310], came Petronilla de Kynebautone, late wife of William de Kynebautone, and acknowledged herself bound to Richard de la Chaumbre, mercer, in the sum of £53; to be paid, viz., one moiety at Michaelmas and the other at Christmas; and unless, &c.

(On 1 April, anno 4 Edward II., the above Richard came and acknowledged satisfaction of the debt. It is therefore cancelled.)

M., &c. The said Nicholas put in his place John Dode, ironmonger, to receive the sum of 60s., arrears of the debt.

Wednesday the Feast of St. Mary Magdalen [22 July] came Adam le Taverner de Sidingburne and Adam Trug', of London, and acknowledged themselves jointly and severally bound to John de Wyndesore, Alderman, executor of Walter de Fynchingfeld, and other executors of the same, in the sum of £20; to be paid at Midsummer with mesne profits; and unless, &c.

(Afterwards the said Robert came and acknowledged satisfaction of 40s., and demanded execution for 10s. arrears, for which 8½ ells of cloth were seized and appraised at 11s. 4d.; and inasmuch as the cloth was not redeemed by the debtor within a fortnight, it was delivered to the creditor.)
