Bill to prevent Tumults.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act against Tumults and Disorders, upon Pretence of preparing or presenting public Petitions, or other Addresses, to His Majesty or the Parliament."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass as a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Bills.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Dr. Brampston and Mr. Glascocke;

To deliver to them Two Bills:

1. The abovesaid Bill against Tumults and Disorders' &c. passed by this House, wherein the Concurrence of the House of Commons is desired.

2. To return the Bill for preserving the King's Person and Government; wherein the Lords do agree, with some Alterations and a Proviso; and do desire the Concurrence of the House of Commons therein.

That they have delivered the Two Bills to the House of Commons.

Upon the Desire of the Earl of Oxon, "That Richard Saier, at whose Suit his Coach was attached by Richard Aiskew Bailiff, might be released, having made their Submissions:"

It is ORDERED, That the said Richard Saier and Ric. Aiskew shall be released of their Restraint and Imprisonment, paying their Fees.

A Petition was presented to this House, by some Quakers; which was commanded to be read.
