ORDERED, That the Lord Bellasis is added to the Committee for the Bill concerning Trynity Church, in Hull.
Bill against melting Silver Coin.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to prevent the Inconvenience that doth arise by melting the Silver Coin of this Realm."
Debate concerning swearing Witnesses at this Bar, to be examined in H. C. about a Bill.
Next, the House took into Consideration the Message Yesterday from the House of Commons, concerning swearing Witnesses at this Bar, to be produced to be examined in the House of Commons, upon the Hearing of the Cause concerning the Bill for vacating certain Fines levied by Sir Edward Powell and his Lady.
And after some Debate;
The Question being put, "Whether to enter into the present Debate of this Business, notwithstanding the former Order Yesterday ?" It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
For the freer Debate of this Business, the House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure.
The House being resumed;
The Lord Chamberlain reported, "That, upon Consideration of this Business, the Committee were of Opinion, That the further Debate of this Business be deferred until To-morrow Morning; and that the Committee of Privileges do meet this Afternoon, and consider of Precedents, and make Report thereof to this House To-morrow Morning."
T which Report the House agreed, and ordered the same accordingly.
ORDERED, That the Earl of Bedford, the Bishop of Chichester, and the Bishop of Carlile, be added to the Committee for Dr. Peyton's Bill.
