Message from H. C. with Bills.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir William Lowther and others; who brought up these Bills following:

1. "An Act for importing of Madder pure and unmixed."

2. "An Act for the making void of divers Judgements and Conveyances, obtained from James Scudamore Esquire, by George Colt and Thomas Colt, and their Trustees."

To which Bills the House of Commons desires their Lordships Concurrence.

3. "An additional Act concerning Matters of Assurance used amongst Merchants;" which was sent down with some Amendments, wherein the House of Commons do concur with their Lordships.

Bill for Relief of Officers, &c. maimed in the King's Service.

Leigh versus Pigott.

Upon Report made this Day from the Lords Committees for Petitions, in the Case of Goddard Leigh Plaintiff, by Petition, against Sir Henry Pigott and others, concerning a Decree made in the High Court of Chancery; and after due Consideration had thereupon:

It is ORDERED and Declared, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition be, and hereby is, dismissed this House; any former Proceedings thereupon notwithstanding.
