Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for confirming a Decree made on the Behalf of Thomas Derham Esquire, and the Improvements, Exchanges, and Allotments, therein mentioned."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following:

Their Lordships, or any Five; to meet To-morrow Morning, in the Prince's Lodgings, at Eight of the Clock.

Message from H. C. with the E. of Derby's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Edward Stanley Esquire; who returned a Bill concerning the Earl of Derby, with some Alterations, wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

Then the said Alterations were read Twice.

And the Question being put, "Whether to concur with the House of Commons in these Alterations and Amendments ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Militia Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for ordering the Forces in the several Counties of this Kingdom."

Norwich Stuffs Bill.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill for regulating the making of Norwich Stuffs shall meet Tomorrow in the Afternoon.

Protestants of Piedmont Bill.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for confirming, explaining, and enlarging, an Act, intituled, An Act for the levying of certain Monies, upon the Collection for the Protestants of Piedmont."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It is Resolved in the Affirmative.

Sir Tho. Lee's Bill.

The Bishop of Durham reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill concerning Sir Thomas Lee, and have heard all Parties concerned therein, who are consenting to the passing of the Bill, it being to the Advantage and Benefit of Dame Anne Lee."

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for enabling Sir Thomas Lee to exchange some Lands settled upon the Marriage of Dame Anne his now Wife, in Consideration of another Settlement of Lands, of equal Value, in Lieu thereof."

Dallyson's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act vesting certain Lands in Bleasby, in Sir John Mounson the Younger, Robert Thorold Esquire, and Anthony Eyre the Elder Esquire, and their Heirs, to sell Land, for Payment of the Debts of Sir Rob't Dallyson."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to the same Committee as Sir Thomas Derham's Bill is.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Brampston Knight of the Bath, and others; who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Trustees of Henry Nevill Esquire to sell certain Manors, and Lands, and Tenements, in the Counties of Yorke and Leycester, for Payment of his and his Son William Nevill's Debts, and likewife to confirm and strengthen the Sale of such Lands as they have already sold in the County of Yorke;" wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

Bill for importation of Madder.

The Earl of Portland reported from the Committee the Bill for Madder, as fit to pass as it is, without any Alterations.

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It is Resolved in the Affirmative.

Bill to prevent the Importation of Wool-cards, Wire, &c.

The Lord Ashley reported from the Committee, the Bill concerning Wool-cards, and Card-wire, as fit to pass, with some Alterations; which, being read Twice, were Agreed to.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act against Importation of Foreign Wool-cards, Card-wire, or Ironwire."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations, shall pass ?"

It is Resolved in the Affirmative.

L. Widdrington's Bill.

The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill concerning the Lord Widdrington, and heard all Parties concerned, and received their Consent to the passing the said Bill with these Alterations and Amendments made by the Committee, which are offered to the Consideration of this House."

The Amendments and Alterations, being read Twice, were Agreed to, and the Bill ordered to be engrossed accordingly.

Peck's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act enabling Thomas Peck Esquire to sell a Manor and some Lands, in the County of Norff. for Payment of his Debts, and other Uses."

ORDERED, That the Earl of Bristoll and the Lord Herbert of Cherbury are added to the Committee for the Bill of Uniformity.

Committees to meet.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill concerning Collectors of Public Monies, and the Committee for the Earl of Winchilsea's Bill, shall meet To-morrow Morning; and the Lord Arundell and the Lord Ashley are added to the Committee for the Earl of Winchilsea's Bill.

Eedes to be brought to the Bar.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Richard Eedes, now in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, shall be brought to this Bar on Monday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning, to answer such Matters as he stands charged withal before their Lordships; at which Time such Proofs are to be produced as are to make good the said Charge.

Bill for restoring Advowsons, &c. taken away upon Compositions.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it is hereby referred to the Two Lords Chief Justices, who (having called to them such Judges as are now in Town) are to consider whether an Act, intituled, "An Act for the restoring of all such Advowsons, Rectories, Impropriations, Glebe Lands, and Tithes, to His Majesty's loyal Subjects, as were taken from them, and making void certain Charges imposed upon them upon their Compositions for Delinquency by the late usurped Powers," be against the Act of Indemnity, and the Act of confirming judicial Proceedings, or either of them; and to make Report thereof to this House.

L. Mohun versus Mrs. Gifford.

ORDERED, That Saturday Morning next, the 22th Day of this Instant March, is appointed for hearing the Counsel, at this Bar, on Behalf of the Lord Mohun (a Member of Parliament) on the one Part, and the Counsel of Mrs. Dorothy Gifford on the other Part; who are then to state to this House the Matter of Difference between the said Parties, that such further Directions may be given therein, as their Lordships shall think fit.
