The Alterations and Amendments in the Bill concerning the Duke of Albemarle, reported from the Committee formerly, were read Twice, and Agreed to.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for confirming of certain Letters Patents made, and to be made, to the Right Noble Lord George Duke of Albemarle, of several Honours, Manors, and Hereditaments, granted to him by His Majesty."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations, shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Justice Mallett and Justice Tyrrell:

To return them the Bill concerning the Duke of Albemarle, wherein the Lords have made some Alterations, and desire their Concurrence.

Briscoe's Bill.

ORDERED, That the Bill concerning Mrs. Briscoe shall be engrossed, with the Alterations, as they were reported from the Committee.

Bill for making Rivers navigable.

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Bills.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir (fn. 1) Justinian Lewin and Sir Nathaniell Hobart:

To return them these Bills following, with the Alterations and Amendments made by the Lords; and to desire their Concurrence therein:

1. The Bill concerning Mr. Mylward.

2. The Bill concerning the Estate of Sir James Enyon.

3. The Bill for bringing Persons to Accompt concerning Prize Goods.

Also to deliver to them Two Bills passed by the Lords, to which their Concurrence is desired:

1. The Bill concerning the Lord Widdrington.

2. The Bill for making Rivers navigable.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Richard Temple and others; who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act prohihiting the Importation of Foreign Bone Lace, Cut-work, Embroidery, Fringe, Band-strings, and Needle-work;" to which they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Killegrews and Sayers Nat. Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for naturalizing of Charlotte Hessen, Wife of Thomas Killegrewe Esquire, Groom of His Majesty's Bed-chamber, and his Three Sons, Charles Killegrewe, Thomas Killegrewe, and Robert Killegrewe, born at Mastricht in Flanders; Katheren Hessen, Wife of Sir John Sayers, and his Three Sons, George Sayers, Robert Sayers born at The Hague in Holland, and Thomas Sayers born at Mastricht in Flanders."

Bill for repairing the Streets in Westminster, &c.

The Earl of Portland reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill for mending the Streets and Highways in Westm. and they have made some Alterations and Additions and Provisos, which they offer to their Lordships Consideration."

The which Alterations and Provisos, being read Twice, were Agreed to.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for repairing the Highways and Sewers, and for paving and keeping clean of the Streets, in and about the Cities of London and Westm.; and for reforming of Annoyances and Disorders in the Streets of, and Places adjacent to, the said Cities; and for the regulating and licensing of Hackney Coaches; and for the enlarging of several strait and inconvenient Streets and Passages."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations and Amendments, shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
