The Lord Viscount Stafford reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill to enable Mrs. Rivers to sell Land; and having heard all Persons concerned therein, and received their Consents, the Lords are of Opinion, That the said Bill is sit to pass as it is, without any Amendment."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Mrs. Clemence Ryvers and Mrs. Rose Ryvers to sell certain Lands and Houses, for Payment of the Debts of Edward Ryvers Esquire deceased, and Provision for Younger Children."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Duncomb versus Carter, in Error.

Upon hearing the Counsel argue the Errors in the Writ of Error depending in this House, between Duncomb Plaintiff and Carter Defendant:

It is ORDERED, To be referred to the Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas and Mr. Justice Tyrrell, to peruse the Record and the Errors, and deliver their Opinions to this House on Tuesday Morning next; and then this House will give Judgement thereupon.

Militia Bill.

Next, the House was adjourned into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Bill for settling the Forces of this Kingdom; and, after Debate thereof, the House was resumed.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Bruce and others; who presented to their Lordships a Bill, intituled, "An Act for Distribution of Threescore Thousand Pounds amongst the truly loyal and indigent Commission Officers; and for assessing of Offices, and distributing the Monies thereby raised for their future Supply;" to which their Lordships speedy Concurrence is desired.
