The Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas sat Speaker this Day, in the Absence of the Lord Keeper, not well.

The Lord Viscount Mordant, Earl of Exon, Earl of Dover, Lord Delawarr, and the Lord Chandos, are added to the Committee concerning the Proceedings upon Bills of Middlesex.

The Bishop of Lyncolne, the Lord Vaughan, and the Lord Townsend, are added to the Committee for the Bill against burning Houses; &c.

Additional Act for rebuilding London.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An additional Bill for the rebuilding of the City of London, uniting of Parishes, and rebuilding of the Cathedral and Parochial Churches within the said City."

Also he returned divers Bill which were sent down to the House of Commons, to which the Commons do agree, without any Amendment:

2. The Bill concerning Sir Francis Fane.

3. The Bill concerning Mr. Beckham.

4. The Bill concerning the Lady Routh.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Talbott and others, to return Two Bills sent down from their Lordships:

1. The Bill concerning the Lady Bellasis, wherein they have made some Amendments, to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

2. The Bill for making navigable the Rivers of Brandon and Waveney, wherein the House of Commons agrees to their Lordships Amendments.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Tanner and others; who returned the Bill concerning the Lord Strangford, with some Amendments, to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

The said Amendments were read Thrice, and Agreed to.

The Lord Powis reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for ascertaining the Measures of Corn and Salt, as fit to pass as it is."

Yarmouth Harbour Bill.

Hotchkin's Bill.

ORDERED, That the Bill to enable Robert Hotchkin to sell Lands, to pay Debts, &c. shall be read the Third Time To-morrow Morning.

Perkins' Bill.

ORDERED, That the Bill to enable Henry and Jane Perkins to ensure Lands to Doctor Wharton, &c. shall be read To-morrow Morning.

Morris versus Dove.

ORDERED, That Mr. Dove's Answer to the Petition of Mr. Morris shall be read To-morrow Morning.

Bill to explain the Act concerning Falmouth Church.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the better Explanation of an Act made in this present Parliament, intituled, An Act for the making of the Church erected at Falmouth a Parish Church, and no Part of the Parish of Gluvias, or Chapelry of St. Budock."

Penryn and Truro Pet. about it.

A Letter was presented from the Towns of Penryn and Truro, desiring to be heard before this Bill do pass.

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill be committed to the same Committee as the Bill concerning the Dean of St. Paul's is: And the Committee are to consider of the Desires of Penryn and Truro.

De Vaux versus Colladon.

Whereas, by Order of this House, dated the Seventh Day of this Instant March, Sir John Colladon Knight was appointed to put in an Answer in Writing to the Petition of Sir Theodore de Vaux depending in this House, concerning certain Proceedings in the Court of Chancery, relating to the Estate of Hester the Daughter of Edward de Pleurs, deceased, on the 14th Day of March Instant; and whereas, on the 12th Instant, the Petition of the said Sir John Colladon was presented to this House, which was this Day read, shewing, "That by reason his Counsel, in whose Hands his Papers were, was out of Town in the Circuit, by reason whereof he could not put in his Answer at the Day appointed, and therefore prayed Three Weeks Time longer:"

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Sir John Colladon shall put in his Answer in Writing to the said Petition of Sir Theodore de Vaux on this Day Sevennight, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

E. Stafford versus Wayndesford.

Upon reading the humble Petition and Appeal of the Earl of Strafford, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, on the Eighth Day of June last, in Two Causes, wherein William Wayndesford was Plaintiff against the said Earl:

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Wayndesford may have a Copy of the said Petition, and is hereby appointed to put in his Answer to the said Petition in Writing on the First Day of the Sitting of this House next after Easter, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

ORDERED, That it be referred to the Committee for Privileges, to consider, Whether, upon a Petition and Appeal read this Day in the House, on the Behalf of the Earl of Strafford, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, in which Cause William Wayndesford Esquire was Plaintiff, an Order should be issued from this House, to stay Proceedings in the said Suit in the Court of Chancery, and make Report to the House.

L. Halifax required to answer upon Oath in Ireland.

The Lord Viscount Hallyfax acquainting this House, "That he, being named a Trustee for a Gentleman in Ireland lately deceased, is sued in the Courts of Ireland; and that it is expected he should answer upon Oath, his Lordship not being a Peer of Ireland:"

It is ORDERED, That the Consideration hereof be referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges, who are to report their Opinion hereupon unto the House.
