L. Arundell versus Watts Privilege.

Upon Complaint made to this House, and Oath made at the Bar, by Samuell Hayne, "That he being in Possession of a Tenement, Cellars, and Yards, in Plymouth, which he holdeth under the Lord Arundell of Trerice, a Peer of this Realm, one Henry Watts, an Attorney at Law, did in January last (sitting the Parliament) send a Declaration of Ejectment to the said Samuell Hayne, for the said Tenement, Cellars, and Yard, whereby the Title of the said Lord Arundell is questioned:"

Which Proceedings being contrary to the Privilege of Parliament, it is thereupon ORDERED, That the said Henry Watts be, and is hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House, to answer to the said Complaint, on Monday the Thirteenth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Yelverton's Bill.

The Committee for the Bill concerning Nevill Yelverton shall meet on Thursday next, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Subsidy Bill.

Next, this House was adjourned into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for granting a Subsidy for Supply of His Majesty's extraordinary Occasions.

The House was resumed.

Petition to the King against the Growth of Popery.

ORDERED, That the Petition to be presented to His Majesty against the Growth of Popery shall be taken into Consideration the next Business after the Bill of Subsidy is dispatched.

Adjourn.
