PRAYERS.

Persons who have Cartridges to give Notice of them.

Upon Report made from the Lords Committees appointed to inspect the Nature of the Cartridges lately taken at Mr. Choquee's House, "That they ought to be secured, being not fit to be kept by any private Person, though intended only for Fireworks;" which Cartridges are since secured in The Tower:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do attend His Majesty, humbly to desire Him, from this House, "That His Majesty will be pleased, by His Order in Council, to publish, that all Persons who have any Cartridges or Fireworks in their Custody be required to give Notice thereof to the Council Board, within Days after the Publication of the said Order"

Disabling Papists from sitting in Parliament, &c. Bill.

Then the House was adjourned into a Committee, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill for the more effectual preserving the Person of the King.

The House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee had proceeded further upon the Bill; and desired the House would appoint another Time, for the House to be put into a Committee, to proceed in the Consideration of that Bill."

And the House ordered To-morrow Morning; and to be the First Business.

King's Answer to Addresses.

Then the Lord Chamberlain reported, "That the Lords with White Staves had presented to His Majesty Two Addresses from this House:

"1. Concerning the Lord Arundell of Warder to have the Liberty of The Tower, for his Health.

"To which His Majesty returns this Answer: That He had given Order for the same, with those Restrictions their Lordships desire.

"2. Concerning His Majesty's sending to the Spanish Ambassador touching Collins, and Dominick Macquir.

Span. Ambassador will deliver up Collins and Macquir.

"That His Majesty sent Mr. Secretary Coventry to the Spanish Ambassador, to demand them. And the Ambassador promised to send them, when and where His Majesty pleased; expressing himself so sensible of the Occasion upon which they were demanded, that, if he knew his own Son were engaged in it, he would deliver him up."

Queen's Answer to the Thanks of this House.

"The next Address was, to give the Queen Thanks, for Her Care and Readiness to give the House Satisfaction, for their late Search at Somersethouse."

"To which Her Majesty returns this Answer:

"That Her Majesty was very sensible of the Civility of the Lords to Her: And She should be extremely glad to contribute any Thing on Her Part, to the Discovery of this horrid Fact; and the more, because she hears it was alledged to be done at Somerset House at the Time She was there. She hoped the Lords would continue their good Opinion of Her, when any of Her Concerns came before them, which She would be ready to deserve from them upon all Occasions."
