Irish Informations to be delivered to H. C.

ORDERED, That the Informations of Morrish FitzGerald, Downey, and James Nash, read Yesterday, concerning the Plot and Conspiracy in Ireland, with the other Papers delivered from the Privy Council, shall be delivered to the House of Commons.

Warrants of Commitment reported.

Mr. Attorney General reported the Draught of Warrants for the Commitment of Sir John Fitz Gerald, Colonel Lacy, and Lieutenant Colonel Bradeley; which were read, and approved of.

Sir Jo. Fitzgerald committed.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir John Fitz Gerald be committed to The Gatehouse, for Treason, in compassing the Death of the King; and in levying War, and practising to introduce a Foreign Force into the Kingdom of Ireland, and to depose the King from His Crown of Ireland; and that the Messenger in whose Hands the said Sir John Fitz Gerald now is, be, and is hereby, authorized and required forthwith to convey and deliver the Body of the said Sir John Fitz Gerald into the Prison of The Gatehouse; and that the Keeper of the said Prison do receive and keep him there in safe Custody, until he shall be discharged by due Course of Law; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Messenger in whose Custody the said Sir John Fitz Gerald is, as also to the Keeper of the Prison of The Gatehouse, his Deputies and Under Officers, and every of them.

Peirce Lacy committed.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Peirce Lacy Esquire be committed to Newgate, for Treason, in compassing the Death of the King, and in levying War, and practising to introduce a Foreign Force into the Kingdom of Ireland, and to depose the King from His Crown of Ireland; and that the Messenger in whose Hands the said Peirce Lacy now is, be, and is hereby, authorized and required forthwith to convey and deliver the Body of the said Peirce Lacy into the Prison of Newgate; and that the Keeper of the said Prison do receive and keep him there in safe Custody, until he shall be discharged by due Course of Law; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Messenger in whose Custody the said Peirce Lacy is, as also to the Keeper of the Prison of Newgate, his Deputies and Under Officers, and every of them.

Wm. Bradley committed.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Lieutenant Colonel William Bradley be committed to Newgate, for Treason, in compassing the Death of the King, and in levying War, and practising to introduce a Foreign Force into the Kingdom of Ireland, and that to depose the King from His Crown of Ireland; and that the Messenger in whose Hands the said William Bradley now is, be, and is hereby, authorized and required forthwith to convey and deliver the Body of the said William Bradley into the Prison of Newgate, and that the Keeper of the said Prison do receive and keep him there in safe Custody until he shall be discharged by due Course of Law; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Messenger in whose Custody the said William Bradley is, as also to the Keeper of the Prison of Newgate, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.

Potter to give Security for his good Behaviour.

Upon Report from the Committee for examining Matters relating to the Discovery of the late horrid Plot and Conspiracy, "That John Potter hath harboured some Papists in his House, who were by His Majesty's Proclamation to depart the Cities of London and Westminster:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Potter do give Security to His Majesty's Attorney General for his good Behaviour.

But Two Counsel upon Appeals and Writs of Error.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That in all Cases wherein this House shall think fit, and shall appoint, to hear Counsel at the Bar, upon Appeals or Writs of Error, there shall not for the future be allowed to speak of any one Side above Two Counsellors.

And it is further ORDERED, That this House will sit on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, in the Afternoons to hear Causes; and that the Causes now appointed shall be heard in Course on those Days.

Sir J. Edwards versus Howard.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Appeal of Sir John Edwards Knight, being an Appeal from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the 17th of July, 1679, in a Cause there depending, between Mary Howard Widow, the Relict of Henry Howard, late of Clun, in the County of Salop, Esquire; as also upon the Answer of the said Mary Howard put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Part thereupon, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree complained of in the said Appeal of Sir John Edwards be, and is hereby, confirmed; and that the said Appeal be dismissed this House.
