This Day being appointed to take into Consideration the Articles of Impeachment of High Treason, and other high Crimes and Offences, against Sir Adam Blair, Captain Henry Vaughan, Captain Frederick Mole, John Elliott Doctor in Physic, and Robert Gray Doctor in Physic:

The House ordered the Impeachment to be read: Which was done.

Tunstal versus Smith, in Error.

Whereas there is a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Barnaby Tunstall is Plaintiff, and John Smith is Defendant; on which, Errors have been assigned, and Issue joined:

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Errors argued, by Counsel on both Sides, on Saturday the 6th of July next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the Plaintiff is to cause Notice to be given to the Defendant, to the End he attend with Counsel accordingly.

Bristol and Glouc. Courts of Conscience, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for erecting Courts of Conscience in the Cities of Bristoll and Gloucester, and Liberties thereof."

Whereupon the House made the ensuing Order:

Bristol and Glouc. Courts of Conscience.

"ORDERED, upon the Second Reading of a Bill intituled, An Act for erecting Courts of Conscience in the Cities of Bristoll and Gloucester and Liberties thereof, that it be committed to the same Committee as the Act is for erecting a Court of Conscience in the Town of Newcastle upon Tyne; who are to meet on Tuesday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock."

D. Grafton versus L. Chief Justice Pollexfen.

Upon reading the Petition of his Grace the Duke of Grafton, complaining of some Proceedings of the Lord Chief Justice Polexfen, since the last Order of this House made on his Behalf, concerning the Office of Keeper of the Records in the Common Pleas:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Chief Justice Polexfen may have a Copy of the said Petition; and that it be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges, to examine and consider whether the Order of this House, made the 13th of June Instant, hath been observed by the Lord Chief Justice Polexfen or not; whose Lordships, having considered thereof, and heard such Persons concerning the same as they shall think fit, are afterwards to report to the House.

ORDERED, That Mr. Richard Carter, Phillips, George Fuller, Hooton, John Hope, Smith, Mr. John Greene, John Tench, William Noyes, Richard Huggins, Thomas Weddall, William Taylor, John Bentley, Richard Boycott, Arthur Hildersan, and Edward Mills, be, and are hereby, required to attend this House, to be sworn, in order to their being examined before the Lords (fn. 2) Commissioners for Privileges on Wednesday next, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, on the Behalf of his Grace the Duke of Grafton.
