Parliament Rolls to be brought.

ORDERED, That the Keeper of the Records in The Tower of London do bring to this House, at Four of the Clock this Afternoon, the Rolls of Parliament of the 4th, 5th, and 17th of Edward the Third.

Price's Bill.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, for and against the Bill, intituled, "An Act to empower Roger Price Esquire to make a Jointure to his Wife, of the Manor of Westbury, in the County of Bucks."

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon, it is Resolved, upon the Question, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill be, and is hereby, rejected.

Bampfeild versus Popharu.

After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Warwick Bamfield, and John Winter Senior, and Sir John St. Barbe Baronet (being all Nephews), and they the said Bamfeild and Winter, which Winter is now dead, then surviving Executors and Trustees of Henry Rogers Esquire deceased, from a Decree in Chancery, made the 13th of November 1682; and praying to be relieved therein; as also upon the Answer of Alexander Popham, an Infant under the Age of One and Twenty Years, by William Carr Esquire his Guardian, now dead:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel on both Sides thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled in Parliament, That the said Petition and Appeal of Warwick Bamfeild, and John Winter Senior, and Sir John St. Barbe (being all Nephews), and the said Bamfeild now the surviving Executor and Trustee, of Henry Rogers Esquire, deceased, be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree made on the Behalf of the said Alexander Popham, from which they appealed to this House, be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Sir J. Mill versus Noy & al.

Whereas this House had appointed to hear Counsel, at the Bar, in the Cause wherein Sir John Mill is Plaintiff, and Hester Noy and others Defendants:

It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, on Monday the 7th of July Instant, at the Bar, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Carter to be attached, for not attending on the D. of Grafton's Behalf.

Information being given to this House, upon Oath, "That Richard Carter would not obey the Order of this House, made the 29th of June last past, on the Behalf of his Grace the Duke of Grafton, in attending this House, to be sworn as a Witness on his Behalf:"

It is ORDERED, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House do forthwith attach the Body of the said Rich. Carter, and bring him in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for the said Contempt; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir Tho. Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.
