Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Hampden Senior, and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for appointing certain Duties, for paying The States Generall of the United Provinces their Charges for His Majesty's Expedition into this Kingdom, and for other Uses;" to which the Commons desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Bill for appropriating Duties for re paying The States General the Expences of the King's Expedition.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for appointing certain Duties for paying The States Generall of The United Provinces their Charges for His Majesty's Expedition into this Kingdom."

ORDERED, That this Bill be read the Second Time To-morrow.

Bill to prevent Minors Clandestine Marriages.

The Lord Viscount Weymouth reported the Clauses in the Bill for preventing Clandestine Marriages, worded by the Committee.

Which Clauses, being read, were approved of by the House; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the Clauses as they were now read.

Bill to prevent the Exportation of Wool.

ORDERED, That the Petition of the Governors, Assistants, and Fellowship of Merchants Adventurers of England, and of the Governors, Assistants, and Fellowship of Merchants Easland, be, and is hereby, referred to the Consideration of the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool, and encouraging the Woollen Manufacture of this Kingdom;" who are to meet To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock.

ORDERED, That the Petition of Frances Countess Dowager of Portland be, and is hereby, referred to the Consideration of the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool, and encouraging the Woollen Manufactures of this Kingdom," is committed; who are to meet To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Tunstall versus Smith, in Error.

ORDERED, That this House will hear the Errors argued, upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Barnaby Tunstall is Plaintiff, and Thomas Smith Defendant, on the First Monday of the re-sitting of the Parliament after the Recess now at Hand, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Trewallo, for pretending a Protection from L. Wharton.

The House being informed, "That John Trewolla, of the Borough of Truro, in the County of Cornwall Innkeeper, doth pretend to have a Protection from the Right Honourable Phillip Lord Wharton:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Trewallo be, and is hereby, required to attend this House on Monday the Second Day of September next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and hereof he may not fail, as he will answer the contrary to this House.

Sir T. Duppa Black Rod, and other Officers of this House, Fees.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Thomas Duppa Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, and other Officers belonging to the House of Peers; shewing, "That they find, that upon the Roll of Fees anciently established by this House, belonging to the Officers attending thereon, there is a Fee of Thirty Shillings due to the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, and Ten Shillings to the Yeoman Usher, from every Member of this House who sends his Proxy; and other Fees of Entrance due to him, and the other Officers attending this House, upon any Lord's First Sitting in Parliament; and praying to have the said ancient Roll of Fees reinforced, and the several Fees paid; and also praying their Lordships Directions therein:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thirty Shillings, and Ten Shillings, and the other Fees of Entrance, and the ancient Roll of Fees, be, and are hereby, confirmed and reinforced, to the End they may be paid accordingly by all the Members of this House.
