Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.
Address to the King, to put the Laws in Execution against Papists.
Lords Committees appointed to draw an Address to be made to His Majesty, to put the Laws in Execution against Papists, and particularly that they shall not go above Five Miles from their Houses, nor come within Ten Miles of London according to Law; and that they inspect the former Laws; and wherein they are defective, to draw a Bill to remedy those Defects.
Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet at Five of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.
Underwood versus Canham.
Upon reading the Petition of Mary Underwood Widow, and her Four Sons Appellants; praying a Day of hearing of their Appeal, to which Daniel Canham is Defendant; and that Daniell Underwood may enter into Recognizance for his Mother, she being in the Country:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the 18th Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon: And it is further ORDERED, That the said Daniell Underwood may enter into a Recognizance for the Mother Mary Underwood as is desired, whereof the said Daniell Underwood is to cause timely Notice to be given to the said Daniell Canham, to the End he attend with his Counsel accordingly.
Bill to revive the Act for Triennial Parliaments.
The House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure, to consider of Heads and Clause for a Bill to have Triennial Parliaments.
And, after some Debate, the House was resumed.
