The Messengers sent Yesterday to the House of Commons return Answer:

That the Commons will give a Conference, as desired.

E. Suffolk takes the Oaths.

This Day Henry Earl of Suffolke took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Alamodes, &c. Bill to supply Defects in a former Act concerning, and Glass Ware, &c.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to supply the Defects in the Act made the last Session of Parliament, (as to what relates to Alamodes and Lustrings) intituled, An Act for granting to His Majesty certain Duties upon Glass Wares, Stone and Earthen Bottles, Coals, and Culm, for carrying on the War against France."

Lustring Company to be heard.

Upon the First Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to supply the Defects in the Act made the last Session of Parliament, (as to what relates to Alamodes and Lustrings) intituled, An Act for granting to His Majesty certain Duties upon Glass Wares, Stone and Earthen Bottles, Coals, and Culm, for carrying on the War against France:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be read the Second Time on Monday the Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that, in the mean Time, the Lustring Company have Notice thereof; and may have a Copy of the said Bill, and be heard thereunto, if they think fit.

Hall and Keene versus Potter:

After hearing Counsel, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Hall and John Keene Esquires, Executors of Thomas Thynne Esquire deceased; praying to be relieved against an Order and Dismission lately made by the now Lord Keeper, on the Behalf of Mrs. Jane Potter; as also upon the Answer of the said Jane Potter put in thereunto:

Judgement reversed.

After due Consideration of what was offered by Counsel thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Order and Dismission, complained of in the said Petition and Appeal of John Hall and John Keene, made on Behalf of the said Jane Potter, shall be, and is hereby, reversed.

Conference on the Silver Coinage, Bill.

The Commons being come to the Conference, and the Managers Names read; the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That they had delivered the Commons the Bill for the regulating the Coinage of the Silver Money of this Kingdom, and the Lords Reasons for insisting on some of their Amendments therein, and the other Paper, as ordered."

Admiralty Papers.

ORDERED, That the Committee appointed to consider of the Papers delivered from the Commissioners of the Admiralty do meet on Monday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and that the Persons now attending do then also attend.

Adjourn.
