Message from H. C. for a Conference on Trials for Treason, Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Montagu and others:

To desire a Free Conference, upon the Subject-matter of the last Free Conference.

To which the House agreed.

Answer.

The Messengers were called in, and told, "That the Lords agree to a Free Conference, as desired; and appoint it presently, in the Painted Chamber."

Conference.

The Commons being come to the Conference, the former Managers Names were read; and the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Managers went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Mulgrave reported, "That the Lords had been at the Conference; and that they have received the Bill; and as to the Clause (A), the Commons have agreed to, with some Amendments."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Clerk of the Petty Bag in Chancery do, To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers, attend the Lords Committees appointed to inspect Commissions for Lords High Stewards for Trial of Peers, with the Records of all Commissions for that Purpose, since the Reign of King Henry the Eighth, or as many of them as he can get ready by that Time.

Trials for Treason for regulating, Bill.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the Report made from the Free Conference with the House of Commons, and their Amendments to the Proviso (A), shall be taken up To-morrow, the First Business after Twelve of the Clock.

Le Brune versus Herbert.

The House moved, "That Cornelius Le Brune may have further Time for answering to the Petition of Charles Herbert and Bartholomew Evans."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Cornelius Le Brune hath hereby Time given him for answering to the said Petition, until Thursday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Sutton versus Slaughter and Highmore.

The House was this Day moved; by the Defendants, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing of the Cause, wherein William Sutton is Plaintiff, and Paris Slawter and Edward Highmore Defendants."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Seven and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

D. of Norfolk's Bill.

After hearing this Day the Civil Lawyers, pursuant to the Order Yesterday, upon reading the Dutchess of Norfolke's Petition:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That his Grace the Duke of Norfolke shall bring in the Charge against his Dutchess, and particularly to the Person, Time, and Place, by Saturday next, at Twelve of the Clock.

Herbert versus Le Brune.

The House being moved, "That Daniel Davies Gentleman may enter into Recognizance (fn. 1) of Charles Herbert and others, upon their Appeal depending in this House:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Daniell Davies may enter into Recognizance for the said Charles Herbert, as desired.

Barton versus Woodman.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Amy Barton, George Willoughby, and Joanna his Wife, and William Taylor and Margaret his Wife, from a Decree made in the High Court of Chancery, the One and Twentieth Day of March last past, in certain Causes there depending, between Joshua Woodman, Executor of Francis Dennis Widow, by Bill of Revivor, against Robert Blake and Elizabeth his Wife, Amy Barton Widow, Joanna Badd, now the Wife of George Willoughby Gentleman, Margarett Badd, now the Wife of William Taylor Gentleman, John Sturmey Gentleman and Mary his Wife, and between the said Robert Blake and Elizabeth his Wife, Plaintiffs, and the said Thomas Sackvill Esquire, Amy Barton Widow, the said Joanna and Margaret, John Sturmey and Mary his Wife, and the said John Woodman Gentleman, Defendants; as also Counsel upon the Answers of Joshua Woodman Gentleman, Thomas Sackville Esquire, and Elizabeth Blake Widow, put in thereunto:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel upon the said Petition and Answer, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree, made in the Court of Chancery, the One and Twentieth Day of March last, complained of in the Petition of the said Amy Barton, George Willoughby and Joanna his Wife, and William Taylor and Margaret his Wife, shall be, and is hereby, reversed.

Asheton versus Asheton.

Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing the Cause, wherein Richard Ashton is Plaintiff, and Edmund Ashton Baronet Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Monday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Penry versus Walker.

Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing the Cause, wherein Elizabeth Penry Widow is Plaintiff, and Thomas Walker Defendant:
