Town of Warwick, for rebuilding, &c. Bill:

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the re-building the Town of Warwick, and for determining Differences touching Houses burnt or demolished by reason of the late dreadful Fire there," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and others added by the House.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the re-building the Town of Warwick, and for determining Differences touching Houses burnt or demolished by reason of the late dreadful Fire there."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir John Hoskyns and Sir Miles Cooke:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to the said Amendments.

Gage's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Trustees of William Gage to raise Money, by a Mortgage of Part of his Estate, for the Preservation of the Timber growing thereon."

Strode and Bridall reprimanded.

Mr. Strode and Mr. Bridall were called in, and reprimanded, at the Bar, for signing Dodsworth's Appeal.

Brooke's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the vesting the Manor of Madely, and other Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, in the County of Salop, the Estate of Basill Brooke Esquire, in Trustees, for raising Monies, for the Payment of Debts, and for securing his Wife's Jointure."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Wednesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Pitt's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for supplying certain Defects in the Directions made in and by a Deed of Trust, and the last Will of George Pitt Esquire, deceased, for settling of his Estate."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill shall be referred to the same Committee to whom Brook's Bill is committed.

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Monday next, at the Time and Place abovesaid.

Hitchins versus Basset.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Edward Hungerford and John Hill; praying, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Errors argued upon a Writ of Error, wherein John Hitchins is Plaintiff, and Sir William Basset Defendant:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued thereupon, on Tuesday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting to His Majesty an Aid of Four Shillings in the Pound for One Year, and for applying the Yearly Sum of Three Hundred Thousand Pounds for Five Years, out of the Duties of Tonnage and Poundage, and other Sums of Money payable upon Merchandizes exported and imported, for carrying on the War against France with Vigour;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Lancashire Trials;

After hearing this Day several Persons, in relation to the late Trials in Lancashire upon Oath, the following Orders were made; (videlicet,)

Taffe to be attached:

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House do forthwith attach the Body of John Taffe, and keep him in safe Custody until further Order.

To Sir Fleetwood S'eppard, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them."

Wybrant, Baker, et al. to attend.

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the further Consideration of the Proceedings, in relation to the late Trials in Lancashire shall be resumed on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock; and that Mr. Wybrant, Mr. Baker, Mr. Aaron Smith, and all other Persons who did, or were ordered to attend this Day, do then attend this House."

Queen's Funeral.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the naming and ordering of the several Peers of this House, who shall execute any Office to be performed at the Solemnity of Her Majesty's Funeral, shall be wholly left to the Direction of his Grace the Duke of Norfolke, as Earl Marshal of England.
