Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Madeley, in the County of Salop, in Trustees, for certain Purposes therein mentioned."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir John Hoskyns and Sir John Francklyn:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Oaths in Ireland, Bill to amend the Act for.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for amending an Act made in the Third Year of His present Majesty and the late Queen, intituled, An Act for abrogating the Oath of Supremacy in Ireland, and appointing other Oaths."

After some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Rochester reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill, with several Amendments and Alterations therein."

Which, being read, were agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed.

Exports and Imports, Accounts of.

The Papers delivered by the Commissioners of the Customs the Thirtieth of December last were read.

Whereupon,

Lords Committees were appointed, to consider of the Papers delivered into this House, by the Commissioners of the Customs, the Thirtieth of December last; whose Lordships, having considered thereof, and heard such Persons concerning the same as they shall think fit, are afterwards to report to the House:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That any One or more of the Commissioners of the Customs do attend the Lords Committees (to whom is referred the Consideration of the Papers delivered by them into this House the Third Instant) To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers.

List of the Fleet.

Upon reading this Day a List of the Ships for the Fleet in The Channel and Mediterranean, received from the Commissioners of the Admiralty the One and Twentieth of December last:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said List shall be referred to the same Committee, to whom the Papers delivered from the Commissioners of the Admiralty (the Seven and Twentieth of December last) are referred.

List of the Army.

The List of the General Officers and Colonels of His Majesty's Land Forces, was read.

Message from H. C. for a Conference on the Silver Coinage Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Moyle and others:

To desire a Conference, upon the Subject-matter of the Amendments made by this House to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the regulating the Coinage of the Silver Money of this Kingdom."

Answer.

The Commons were called in again; and told, That the Lords agree to a Conference, as desired; and appoint the same presently, in the Painted Chamber."

ORDERED, That those Lords who were of the Select Committee on the Coinage Bill be Managers of the said Conference; and that the Duke of Somerset and Duke of Bolton be added to the said Committee.

The Commons being come to the Conference; the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Rochester reported, "That they had attended the Conference, and received the Bill from the Commons."

Report of the Conference to be made.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Report of the Conference had this Day with the House of Commons shall be made To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
