ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be committed to the same Committee as the Charters of the East India Company stand committed; to meet on Wednesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings.

Public Accompts, for taking, &c. Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the taking, examining, and stating, the Public Accompts."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

St. James's Parish, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable the Parish of St. James, within the Liberties of the City of Westm'r, to raise (upon themselves) so much Money as will discharge their Debt, for building their Parish Church, Rector's House, Vestry, and other public Works there."

ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be read the Second Time on Saturday the Two and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Twelve of the Clock.

Sir Richard Verney's Pet. for a Writ of Summons, Report to the King, upon His Reference of it:

The Lord President reported from the Committee (appointed to draw up what shall be reported to His Majesty upon Sir Rich'd Verney's Petition), as followeth; (videlicet,)

"May it please Your most Excellent Majesty,

In Obedience to Your Majesty's Commands, signified to us by Your Gracious Reference (of the Fourth of January last) of the Petition of Sir Richard Verney Knight, praying a Writ of Summons to Parliament; we have heard Counsel, and examined the Title mentioned in the said Petition; and have also heard Your Majesty's Learned Counsel, to object what Matter they thought fit against the same: And, after full and deliberate Consideration and Debate of what hath been offered thereupon, we, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, have resolved, That, by what hath been made appear to this House, the Petitioner Sir Richard Verney hath a Right to a Writ of Summons to Parliament, by the Name and Title of Willoughby de Broke."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord President, the Lord Marquis of Normanby, the Lord Bishop of London, the Lord Bishop of Durham, the Lord Willoughby of Eresby, and Lord Ferrers, do attend His Majesty, with the Report agreed to this Day, upon Sir Richard Verney's Petition.
