E. Derby signs the Association.

This Day William Earl of Derby took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statues; and signed the Association.

Charitable Gifts, to encourage, Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement of Charitable Gifts and Dispositions."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir Robert Legard:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Honour of Tutbury, Needwood Forest, &c. Bill to re-vest in the King.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for re-vesting in His Majesty the Honour of Tutbury, Forest of Needwood, several Manors, Parks, Lands, and Offices, and other Profits thereunto belonging; and for vacating several Letters Patents therein mentioned."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Ferrers reported, "That the Committee was of Opinion, that Mr. Rupert Browne should be heard, by his Counsel, and produce his Security to the Three Thousand Five Hundred Pounds mentioned in his Petition, and prove his Debt, and when the said Money was lent."

Upon Report made from the Committee of the whole House, appointed to consider of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for re-vesting in His Majesty the Honour of Tutbury, Forest of Needwood, several Manors, Parks, Lands, and Offices, and other Profits thereunto belonging; and for vacating several Letters Patents therein mentioned:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee again, to proceed on the said Bill, on Friday next, at Eleven of the Clock; at which Time Mr. Rupert Browne shall be heard by his Counsel, and produce his Security to the Three Thousand Five Hundred Pounds mentioned in his Petition, and prove his Debt, and when the said Money was lent; at which Time His Majesty's Counsel shall be also heard.

Security of the King's Person, Bill for.

The Order being read, for the House to be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Security of His Majesty's Royal Person and Government."

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the said Bill.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert of Chirbury reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which, being read Twice, were agreed to.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Security of His Majesty's Royal Person and Government," shall be read the Third Time To-morrow, at One of the Clock.

Wool, to prevent the Exportation of, &c. Bill.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual preventing the Exportation of Wool, and for encouraging the Importation thereof from Ireland," on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that Mr. Randolph do then attend.

Adjourn.
